Pizza Buns

Pizza buns make an amazing alternative to normal pizza! They’re so delicious, simple and fun to make with kids. Enjoy the pizza buns for breakfast, dinner or anytime in between.

The first time I ate pizza bread rolls/ pizza buns /Pizza Brötchen or whatever you call them, made by mum in law was in 2013. Back then I told my mum in law that I was not going to leave her alone until she has shared with me her pizza bread rolls recipe. She was so kind such that she told me which ingredients she used.

I later noted down the recipe when I returned home. Since then I made this recipe tons of times, especially when having game nights with our friends or when I’m not in a mood of standing for hours in the kitchen.

If you’re a fan of pizza, then you’re definitely gonna love this pizza bun recipe. It’s super easy just like chicken pineapple curry and only takes 25 mins to make including preparation time.

All you have to do is to split store bought bread rolls. Top them with ham, salami, grated cheese, cream cheese, tomato paste, bell peppers & mushrooms mixture. And bake them for maximum 15 minutes.

This recipe makes a perfect finger food at any party. You can also have them as a meal on their own. They’re also enjoyable when cold.

So if you’re looking for a busy-day dinner or appetizer recipe then you should definitely give this one a try!!

In a bowl combine grated cheese, cream cheese, tomato paste, mushrooms, bell peppers, ham, salami and oregano. Season with salt and pepper.

Split open the bread rolls and arrange them on the baking sheet, with cut side up. Top the cut sides of both halves with the ham – cheese mixture.

Bake for 15 minutes or until nicely golden brown. After 15 minutes remove from the oven and serve immediately.
