3 – Ingredient Wild Garlic Feta Dip

Last week I foraged more than 2 kg (about 4 ½ pounds) wild garlic from our local park. So everything I made the last 7 days had wild garlic in it. I made chicken curry, cordon bleu (stuffed pork), wild garlic butter, tart flambee, stuffed chicken breasts, pesto and this wild garlic dip.


This creamy and delicious wild garlic spread or dip made from wild garlic, good quality feta and sour cream is so easy and takes only 10 minutes to make. It tastes amazing served with homemade bread, raw vegetables or crackers.
Making this recipe is very important that you use good quality Greek feta cheese made from sheep’s milk for great results. This recipe also works well with baby spinach, chives, fresh basil or spring onions. Just be sure to add 2 to 3 garlic cloves for the garlic flavor.


Just like tzatziki, wild garlic dip tastes much better once it has rested for some time before consuming. In this way wild garlic unfolds itself.

3-Ingredient Wild Garlic – Feta Dip

Yield: 4 Servings
Prep Time: 10 min
Chill Time: at least 1 hour

You’ll need

  • 200 g (7 oz) good quality Feta
  • 200 g (7 oz) sour cream
  • 50 g (about 2 oz) wild garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste (optional)

You’ll also need

  • 1 bowl, a fork, cutting board & knife
  • paper towels

Wash the wild garlic leaves and pat dry with paper towels. Then finely chop the leaves.


Put feta in a bowl and break it up into smaller pieces with a fork.

Stir in sour cream and mix until well combined.

Fold in finely chopped wild garlic.


Taste your dip first and season with salt and pepper, if necessary.

Let your spread rest for at least 1 hour. You can keep the dip in the fridge for up to 4 days.
