Creamy 3 – Ingredient Vanilla Ice Cream (No Churn)

Sharing is caring!

This creamy 3-ingredient vanilla ice-cream with a nice smooth consistency is absolutely delicious! Made with sweetened condensed milk, freshly whipped cream and vanilla seeds from vanilla bean. Such a real treat!

Wow! Who knew vanilla ice cream was so cheap and this easy to make. All you have to do is whip the whipping cream to get more volume and lovely texture and gently fold it into condensed milk and vanilla mixture, refrigerate and done!!

Here is what I like about this vanilla ice cream

  • It’s simple and easy to follow
  • Its egg free
  • It’s made without the ice-cream machine
  • It uses only 3 ingredients

What you’ll need to make creamy vanilla ice cream

  • 200 g (7.1 oz) sweetened condensed milk, chilled
  • 400 ml (13.5 fl.oz/ 1 2/3 cups) whipping cream, well chilled
  • 1 vanilla bean

Hint: If you don’t have access to vanilla bean, try to use 2- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract. This will not taste the same as when you’re using vanilla bean, but it’s a great alternative.

How to make no churn vanilla ice cream

Using the tip of the knife split the vanilla bean lengthwise, scrape out the vanilla seeds and mix them with condensed milk.

In a jar whip the very well chilled whipping cream until light and fluffy.

Add whipped cream to a bowl with condensed milk and vanilla mixture and mix gently, until you have a homogeneous mixture.

Put the cream in an empty plastic container, smooth with a spoon or spatula and cover. If you don’t have a plastic container (which makes it easier to remove the ice cream), you can also use a bread tin lined with a cling film. Put in the freezer for at least 7 hours.

Remove from the freezer and let sit for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy just like that, with fruits of your choice or with chocolate tart.
