Why you’ll love these quark rolls ?

These rhubarb rolls are simple and quick to make and taste so good, with a great hint of vanilla. So, when family and friends show up uninvited or spontaneously, you can easily whip them up in no time and impress everyone.

I know that rhubarb’s sharp acidity can be a turn-off for some, including my husband. However, these German sweet treats will convince you otherwise and satisfy your sweet tooth. Because of right balance between the tart and tangy flavor and the sweetness.

Moreover, these rolls are versatile.

  • If you don’t have access to quark, you can use alternatives such as cream cheese, sour cream, or Greek yogurt. If you want you can also use vegetable oil instead of melted butter.
  • Furthermore, if rhubarb is not in season or it’s too expensive where you live, feel free to substitute it with other fruits like apples, cherries, or blueberries.

Last but not least, these rhubarb rolls are an excellent way to enjoy rhubarb when it’s in season. They allow you to fully embrace the unique flavors of fresh rhubarb and celebrate the joys of the season.
