  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 5 whole cloves
  • 1 large organic orange (250 g/ 8 oz/ ½ lbs)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Boil water and let tea infuse for 10 minutes. Rinse the orange very well and cut it into slices. Combine tea, juices, sugar, spices and orange slices in a pot. Stir and let cook over medium low heat for 30 minutes, uncovered. Don't let it boil!! Very important!! Remove cloves and star anise and serve.

Notes

  1. Feel free to make the punch a day before. Just make sure you remove cloves and star anise. Warm the punch the next day and enjoy.
  2. The punch makes a perfect last minute gift from the kitchen too. All you have to do is wash empty glass bottles with boiling water and fill them with hot Christmas punch. Let cool and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
