Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper

Instructions

  • All you have to do is combine all the ingredients together. The kapana spice mix will keep for months if stored in an airtight container in a cool and dry place. Let the rub infuse for a few days for the flavors to meld together before using.
